Clubbing Hotels in Ibiza

Clubbing hotels – what to look for

When we talk about clubbing hotels or ‘hotels for clubbers’ what do we actually mean?

Ibiza has a huge number of hotels to choose from, but what many first time visitors don’t realize is that as well as being Europe’s party capital Ibiza is also one of Europe’s most popular destinations for family holidays. This means many hotels cater more for family holidays and are as a result less suited to clubbers looking for a party.

A clubbing hotel is defined by the types of guests which it attracts. Basically you want to be with like minded party people rather than families with young kids. Similarly if you’re traveling as a family with young kids you don’t want side trance blaring through your bedroom walls at 6am when the clubbers return to the hotel!

Most Ibiza hotels are pretty good at putting in there descriptions who the hotel is aimed at and whether it’s suitable for children or not. If you’re unsure check the reviews online on places like tripadvisor which should shed more light on the typical clientele.

Key features of clubbing hotels in Ibiza

This will vary from hotel to hotel but look for some of these features in an Ibiza clubbing hotel:

  • 24 hour reception
  • 24 hour bar
  • Late breakfast
  • All inclusive drinks
  • Club ticket sales
  • Holiday reps
  • No under 18’s

While all out clubbing hotels can be a fun way to spend your holiday in Ibiza they might not be for everyone. There’s plenty of places which are designed for people who want to have a good time but also like some comfort and quiet. Generally the best hotels if this is more your scene are outside the centre of San Antonio and cost a little bit more but may have more facilities included in the cost of your hotel room.
